Weddings are unique and individual occasions and demand to be photographed as such. I have shot weddings for well over a decade now and have always worked unobtrusively using a documentary photographic approach. I see my role as one of observing and recording, not interfering or stage managing.
This style not only produces more interesting and emotive pictures but allows couples, and their guests to enjoy the day without interruption. My clients come from all walks of life but have one thing in common, none of them want their wedding dominated by orchestrated and time consuming photography. I am always happy to shoot a small number of formal photographs that family members may want taking no more than 20 to 30 minutes to do so.
Coverage can be in a combination of both colour and black and white or it can be weighted in favour of either.
I use high quality hard back digital picture books for proofing and Jorgensen albums for the final book.
I welcome enquiries from gay couples wishing to discuss civil partnership celebrations.
The most important page on this site is the testimonial page. I am always happy for prospective clients to speak with people I’ve worked for in the past.
My service is fully insured and I work internationally.
I am a qualified Associate member of the British Institute of Professional Photography.

“Just wanted to drop you a line to express how delighted we are with our wedding photos. Whilst we had high expectations I never imagined they would be as good as they have turned out to be. Choosing a selection for our album will be a difficult job, as they all capture a moment and together tell a wonderful story of the day – they really are fabulous, and a credit to your talent. Many many thanks for creating a wonderful lasting memory for us
